Aberystwyth University Delighted to announce that Aberystwyth University has been awarded the Queen's Anniversary Prize for Higher and Further Education. The Prize has been awarded for the work of plant scientists at the Institute of Biological, Environmental and Rural Sciences.

Film by TFTS Lecturer, John Burgan, to be shown at the BFI SouthbankIn October the British Film Institute in London showed 'Memory Of Berlin' (1998) written and directed by TFTS Lecturer John Burgan. The film will also be screened in Berlin during November to coincide with the 20th anniversary of the fall of the Wa...ll. If you're unable to get to London or Berlin, there will be a chance to catch it at the Aberystwyth Arts Centre at 8.15pm on 24 November. TFTS postgraduates Ywain Tomos & Irene Asimenou's short film portrait of Aberystwyth, 'New Life at the End of the Line', completed as part of their MA in Film Studies, will precede the evening's screening.
