Organised by Oxfam, Oxjam is a national festival of hundreds of different charity music events from punk, jazz, rock and blues held at local venues throughout the ...UK.
Coleg Gwent’s Ebbw Vale Campus will be throwing open its doors on Thursday 15 October as local indie bands Go-X, Straight Lines, Dead Fashion, Corrupt Contrabanned and Five Miles Out rock the event in support of the appeal from 7-11pm at the Campus.
Music tutor Nick Wheeler said: “We hope the gig night will be a great success in raising funds for the Oxjam appeal, as well as showcasing local talent. Some of the band members are former Coleg Gwent students, and we’re delighted they will be returning to perform at the campus.”
Coleg Gwent’s gig night at Ebbw Vale Campus is a 14+ event with a bar open to 18+ with ID only. Tickets cost £3 with all proceeds going towards the Oxjam appeal. (darllen mwy)
